Captain Ray has been a Charter Boat Captain out of Rye Harbor, NH
for more than 20 years and specializes in full day Striped Bass Fishing.
Captain Ray is the I.G.F.A. Representative (International Game Fish Association) for New Hampshire and a member of the CCA (Coastal Conservation Association), A licensed Captain, Maine Guide and a Florida Guide on Lake Okeechobee.
Harvester Charters specializs in Full Day Inshore Striped Bass Charters, Bluefish and Mackeral Fishing, for up to four passengers comfortably. Half day trips are also available.
All trips include rod, reel, bait & tackle. Reservations only. Live bait is used when available and caught by the angler. Captain Ray, uses light tackle and circle hooks.
The Harvester is a 25ft. Center Console Mako with open and spacious room for up to four passengers, though hull rated for 10 people. The boat is fully equipped with all electronics, radar, E.P.I.R.B. and a Coast Guard approved 8 man liferaft.
The Harvester holds a
world record for a 19 lb. Striped Bass caught on 2lb. test line. The boat has
also received numurous first place trophys and Charter Boat Captain awards in
local tournments.
In addition to the Fishing Charter's, Captain Ray and his wife Marie own and operate a Bait & Tackle shop out of Rye Harbor State Marina. Their daughter Megan has been actively involved with the fishing and holds several tournment awards and trophys.
Our New Hampshire Charters run from May to October and tuna, cod and haddock trips are available when in season. For the past 12 years during the winter months, Captain Ray has been a Fishing Guide on Lake Okeechobee, Florida forLargemouth Bass, Crappie and Brim.
